The smoker used by Big Creek BBQ is the Spicewine Single Axle Trailer smoker being built by Spicewine Ironworks out of Columbia, Missouri. Owner Jay Curry, himself an accomplished competitive BBQ chef, is becoming well known for making a quality smoker that produces outstanding results. This cooker will hold steady on temps with no spikes for a solid four hours or better on only a couple of chimneys of charcoal. The cooker is 31" L x 41" W x 48" H and features 4 rack- 23 sq. ft. cooking space, 8 gallon water pan with a automatically filled reserve container, dual upper adjustable dampers, dual lower adjustable dampers, 2 deluxe thermometers and fully insulated shell. It was finished with automotive paint and wax to keep it shining! Custom additions above the base smoker include dual flag pole holders, lock on storage area, side storage, decorative spoiler and scoop on top, custom logos on each side and aluminum diamond decking on front and back.
